I am a J.D. candidate at Duke University School of Law, focusing on the governance and deployment of AI systems in high-stakes domains.
I graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, receiving Highest Distinction and the Alex Vasilos Memorial Award. During my undergraduate studies, I worked with Professors Cynthia Rudin, Bhuwan Dhingra, Brandon Fain, and Jian Pei on a range of machine learning topics, including risk prediction, natural language processing for healthcare, and interpretable models for decision-making.
Prior to Duke, I was a Dean’s Circle Scholar at New York University, where I studied philosophy. I also founded the NYU Philosophy Forum, where I developed a sustained interest in social justice and ethical decision-making—interests that continue to inform my work at the intersection of AI, law, and society.
